Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We provide home health services to private individuals. Our staff includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants and home health aides for assistance with ADL's.

We strive to make our services accessible and affordable by offering a variety of payment options to meet your needs. Clients can choose from private pay, where services are billed directly to the client or family, or explore insurance coverage through long-term care insurance policies. We also accept payments from Medicare and Medicaid for eligible services, ensuring that clients with government-backed insurance plans have access to our quality care. Additionally, we work with Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits for those who qualify. For clients needing financial assistance, we can provide guidance on local programs and resources that may offer support. Our goal is to simplify the payment process so you can focus on the care you deserve.

Coverage for services varies by insurance plan, the type of care required, and individual eligibility. Generally, many insurance providers, including Medicare and Medicaid, cover assistance with bathing, dressing, and other daily tasks if the patient is receiving skilled care as well. To determine specific coverage, it’s essential to review your insurance policy or consult directly with your insurance provider. Our team is available to help you navigate the insurance process, verify coverage, and explore other payment options.

All of our nursing staff are licensed, certified, and have undergone extensive training and background checks. We only hire the most qualified and experienced nurses and certified nursing assistants.

We have a strict quality assurance program in place that includes regular check-ins with patients and their families, as well as ongoing training and education for our staff. We also conduct regular performance evaluations and monitor patient satisfaction.

Determining the right level of care for your loved one can feel overwhelming, but our team is here to guide you through the process. We start with a comprehensive assessment that includes understanding their daily activities, health conditions, and personal preferences. Some key factors we consider include:

  • Daily Living Needs: Assistance with tasks like bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
  • Medical Requirements: Medication management, chronic condition support, or specialized nursing care.
  • Safety Concerns: Risk of falls, memory issues, or any other concerns that might impact their well-being.
  • Companionship Needs: Social engagement, mental stimulation, or emotional support.

Our experienced care coordinators will work closely with you and your family to recommend the most suitable level of care, from part-time assistance to full-time, or skilled nursing care.

We take special care in selecting and matching aides with each client to ensure the highest quality of personalized care. Our aides go through a rigorous hiring process, including background checks, skill assessments, and training, to meet the standards of compassionate and reliable service. When matching aides with clients, we consider factors such as:

  • Skills and Experience: Ensuring the aide has the relevant training and experience to meet the client’s specific health and personal care needs.
  • Personality and Compatibility: We assess both the client’s and the aide’s personalities, communication styles, and interests to promote a comfortable, positive relationship.
  • Cultural and Language Preferences: Whenever possible, we consider any language or cultural preferences to help clients feel more understood and at ease.

Our goal is to make every client feel safe, respected, and cared for, and we are always available to make adjustments if needed to ensure the best fit.

Maintaining patient privacy is one of our top priorities. We strictly adhere to all state and federal regulations, including HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), to protect client information. Our commitment to privacy includes:

  • Secure Record Keeping: All medical records and personal information are securely stored and accessible only to authorized personnel. We use secure, encrypted systems to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Employee Training: Our caregivers and staff undergo extensive training in privacy and confidentiality protocols, ensuring they understand how to handle sensitive information responsibly.
  • Confidentiality Agreements: All team members sign confidentiality agreements and are bound by strict guidelines to respect client privacy in every interaction.
  • Care in the Home: Our aides respect the privacy of each client by being discreet, maintaining professionalism, and only sharing information with family members and medical professionals as authorized by the client or their legal representative.

We are dedicated to creating a safe, trusted environment where clients and families feel comfortable. If you have specific privacy concerns, please feel free to discuss them with us.
